1. Our commitment

NXT Digital Ltd does not send, and does not permit its customers to send, unsolicited bulk email or SMS through Get Shifts. Every message sent through the platform must go to a recipient with a genuine, existing relationship with the sender.

2. Transactional messages

Shift offers, rota updates, timesheet reminders and document-expiry alerts are operational messages Workers receive as part of their work with an agency. Workers control their channels — push, SMS and email — from the app's notification settings.

3. Marketing messages

Our own marketing emails go only to people who opted in, and every one carries our postal address and a working one-click unsubscribe. Unsubscribe requests take effect immediately and are honoured permanently unless you opt in again.

4. Customer obligations

Agencies using Get Shifts must:

message only Workers and clients with whom they have a legitimate working relationship;
never upload purchased, rented or scraped contact lists;
include identification and honour opt-outs in any promotional messaging;
comply with PECR and UK GDPR for every message sent through the platform.

5. Enforcement

Confirmed abuse — spam complaints, list abuse, or messaging patterns consistent with unsolicited bulk sending — leads to warnings, sending limits, suspension or termination, depending on severity. We may suspend sending immediately to protect recipients and platform deliverability.

6. Sender authentication

All email sent by the platform uses authenticated domains with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and we monitor bounce and complaint rates so legitimate messages keep reaching inboxes.

7. Reporting spam

If you believe you've received spam sent through Get Shifts, forward the message with headers to support@getshifts.co.uk or call 0330 808 3871. We investigate every report and act on confirmed abuse.

8. Law

This policy operates alongside the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
